About the Brand
ORA is a fashion and lifestyle jewelry brand, created by designer Or Yaniv in 2022. Nesting between fashion jewelry and fine jewelry, ORA is a dynamic, unisex brand for those who don't see why a bold statement piece and a timeless gold classic can't live in the same jewelry box. Each piece is designed with the body in mind first - its structure, its movement, its contradictions. ORA works in silver, brass, and gold-plated pieces for everyday wear, alongside a fine gold and diamond line, every stone GIA-certified.
About the Designer
Or Yaniv studied textile design, specializing in knitwear, alongside image design, sewing, and fashion. Years of living and working across different countries and cultures shaped the way she sees a body, a shape, a piece of jewelry. “I'm drawn to nature just as much as I'm drawn to the city. I want to work fast and impatient, and I want to work slow and obsessive. I never felt the need to choose one - ORA is what happens when I stopped trying to.” Or is trained in goldsmithing and wax carving under a veteran craftsman, and works by hand in weaving, knitting, embroidery, and sewing - techniques she brings into every piece she designs.
Our DNA
ORA's design language is built from contrast. Old crafts picked up on the way somewhere else - a technique from a market stall, a shape borrowed from a place time forgot - sit beside pieces made fast, bold, and a little kitsch, because both instincts are equally true. Nothing here is precious about being precious. Every ORA piece is meant to be worn, mixed, and lived in - a small, wearable sculpture of everything Or refuses to choose between.
About the Studio
ORA doesn't have one studio - it has two. A home studio in Tel Aviv, and one in Kiryat Ata, both fully working spaces where every piece is actually made, by hand and by machine. It's not a permanent setup, and it isn't meant to be. Studio visits are welcome by prior appointment only.
